Milan and Lake Como were my two recent destinations. We stayed right behind the Duomo di Milano, which was a gorgeous location. It wasn't one of my favourite destinations, but nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

Crossroads
I'm almost at a point in my life where I will have complete control over what I want to do. After I finish university, I'll have the choice to go into whichever career I want, and pursue whichever field I'm interested in. However, I've always been of the belief that life is incredibly short, and …
London Photo Journal
I spent a few days in London with some school friends after my university term had finished. We were blessed with blue skies and sun throughout, which we were so grateful for! We visited Notting Hill, Camden, Central London, as well as the Ministry of Sound; it was a lovely few days, and made me …
Book Review: My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegh
Spoilers ahead! I had read some opinions on the protagonist of this book before reading it for myself - the adjective most commonly used was 'unlikable'. However, I didn't dislike the narrator as such. Without her voice, the story wouldn't exist. I didn't feel particularly strongly either way. The plot follows an unnamed young female …

During this time I volunteered within a school, climbed Poon Hill, visited Kathmandu and Pokhara, and took part in a Nepalese language lesson at the Seven Women Shelter. It was an incredible, …
Gdansk Photo Journal
During the summer, I spent a month in Gdansk, and a few other cities in Poland. I have a bit of travel blogging catching up to do, so this will be the first post of that collection, complete with photos. The sightseeing was the most bountiful place to begin - the entire city of Gdansk, …
Forgiving Your Past Self
You, as a human being, exist in one continuous self from the moment you are born, to the moment you die. Yet you, as a person, are ever-evolving. I bet that looking at who you were ten, five, or even one year ago produces a largely unrecognisable form of yourself. It can feel a little …
A Sunny Reminder
I understand why people need holidays. They need a break from the mundane routine of life. But what if you could learn to not need a 'holiday' anymore. To be able to capture the happiness and laid-back atmosphere of being on holiday, and apply it to your everyday life. It's all in the little things; …
Affordable Present Ideas
It's the festive season, the end of the year is fast approaching, and 2018 is almost upon us! It feels like this year has disappeared, and although Christmas is a time to relax and enjoy yourself, people often feel stressed about purchasing gifts and are stuck on ideas for presents. Hopefully, I can inspire you …
